About Map My Mob

Born and raised as a Darumbal man from Central QLD, Ronald possesses a profound understanding of his culture and heritage. He takes great pride in knowing his mob and the strong connection he shares with them and their origins. Observing that not all Indigenous people are deeply connected to their culture and ancestry, Ronald recognized the desire among many to learn and cultivate pride in their identity. Inspired by this realization, Ronald and his wife, Kym began envisioning a special shirt that could be worn by all Indigenous Australians, serving as a powerful emblem to map the unique identities of Indigenous individuals and reconnect them with their family and cultural heritage. Their dream was to inspire conversations and foster learning by creating a sense of unity and belonging among Indigenous communities across Australia. With the hope that their shirts would ignite meaningful dialogues and bridge connections between Indigenous people, Ronald and his wife worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life. They aspired to make a lasting impact and create a sense of togetherness that would resonate throughout Indigenous communities across the country
